The spirit of personal growth through sports was once again demonstrated by Tunas Unggul students and alumni at Pocari Sweat Run Bandung 2026. Four participants from the Tunas Unggul community took part in the Half Marathon category, covering a distance of 21.1 kilometers. They were Nathan Humam Nursyaqieb, a sixth-grade student at Tunas Unggul Elementary School; Muhammad Azka Lazuardi and Syauqi Nabhan Ramdani, ninth-grade students; and Jefa Apta Nuraga, an alumnus of Tunas Unggul Junior High School.
From early morning, the event was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as runners prepared to take on the challenge. Amid the lively atmosphere, the four Tunas Unggul participants geared up to complete the demanding 21.1-kilometer course. For them, taking part in the Half Marathon was about more than simply reaching the finish line. It was an opportunity to test their perseverance, maintain consistency, and gain valuable experience through sports.
As the race began, the runners made their way along the course, one step at a time. Covering such a long distance required them to manage their pace, conserve their energy, and stay focused until the end. Every kilometer became part of a journey that demanded determination and resilience. As the distance increased, so did the challenge, yet their commitment to completing the race kept them moving forward toward the finish line.
From an educational perspective, participating in sporting events like this provides students with opportunities to learn through real-life experiences. Perseverance in completing the course, discipline in preparing for the race, the ability to manage energy, and sportsmanship throughout the event are valuable qualities that contribute to students' character development. Learning, after all, extends beyond the classroom and can take place through a wide range of activities that encourage students to discover their potential and continue growing.
For Umam, Azka, Uqi, and Jefa, Pocari Sweat Run Bandung 2026 was more than an event marked by finishing times. It was an experience shaped by dedication, personal growth, and the courage to embrace challenges. For Tunas Unggul, their participation reflects the school's ongoing commitment to providing students and alumni with opportunities to develop their potential across different fields.
May this experience inspire them to continue setting goals, embracing the process with consistency, and facing new challenges with confidence. Every step taken with perseverance is part of a greater journey of learning, growing, and achieving.
Each participant achieved a commendable finishing time. Nathan Humam Nursyaqieb, a sixth-grade student at Tunas Unggul Elementary School, completed the Half Marathon in 1 hour, 47 minutes, and 30 seconds. Muhammad Azka Lazuardi, a ninth-grade student at Tunas Unggul, achieved the same finishing time. Meanwhile, Jefa Apta Nuraga, an alumnus of Tunas Unggul Junior High School, completed the race in 1 hour, 58 minutes, and 17 seconds, while Syauqi Nabhan Ramdani, a ninth-grade student, crossed the finish line in 2 hours and 9 minutes.
These achievements represent valuable experiences for each participant. Behind every finishing time lies a process of preparation, the courage to take on a challenge, and the perseverance required to complete a 21.1-kilometer journey. Their experience reminds us that achievement is not measured solely by the final result, but also by the dedication and effort invested along the way.
