HISTORY OF US
Sekolah Tunas Unggul is a private school located in East Bandung, Indonesia. It was established in 2002 by Dr. Dadang Suhendar, M.Pd. as the founder of Yayasan Tunas Unggul. We commits to serve education for all students to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Islamic schools in Bandung City that use the IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum.
Tunas Unggul has five levels of education designed to meet the needs of each stage of child development, namely Playschool, Early Years (TK), Primary School (SD), Lower Secondary School (SMP), and Upper Secondary School (SMA). Each level offers holistic and quality programs to support children's optimal growth and development.

Our vision is to develop students spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually which then enables them to adapt and contribute in a global world.
Our mission is to build a quality education for:

Developing self and social awareness
Improving knowledge, insight, and students’ critical thinking
Strengthening students’ language literacy, numeracy, communication and use of technology and
Developing active, compassionate, lifelong learners and global citizens


The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
IB MISSION STATEMENT
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.




A program of habituation to daily sunnah and obligatory worship, introduction to Islamic stories, and a memorization program with certain targets.

OUR POLICIES
At Tunas Unggul, we believe that education is a shared journey between the school, students, and families. To support this partnership, clear and consistent communication is essential.
