Strengthening Compassion in the Holy Month, Preparing for the 1447 H Ramadan Social Service at Tunas Unggul School

In an effort to strengthen compassion and care for others during Ramadan 1447 H, Tunas Unggul School is once again preparing its Ramadan Social Service program as a meaningful initiative to cultivate empathy, social responsibility, and the spirit of giving among students. This year, the school aims to distribute approximately 800 Ramadan gift packages to residents in the surrounding community. This initiative is not merely a social program, but part of a value-based Islamic character education that teaches children to be sensitive to the needs of others.

In shaa Allah, the opportunity to participate remains open. Parents may contribute their infaq and sadaqah either in cash or via bank transfer to the BSI account under the name Tunas Unggul Charity (8200 3820 06, bank code 451), by adding the number 1 at the end of the transfer amount for verification purposes, for example IDR 100,001. Parents are also encouraged to motivate their children to participate through classroom charity boxes as part of instilling good habits from an early age.

As narrated in a hadith reported by Abu Hurairah (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” (HR. Tirmidhi). Let us come together to make this Ramadan more meaningful by sharing blessings with others, while nurturing compassion and social awareness that will grow within our children throughout their lives.
