Spirit Camp: Building Resilient Grade 6 Students to Face New Challenges

Jatinangor, August 6–7, 2025 – As part of the mandatory program for final-year elementary students, Sekolah Tunas Unggul held Spirit Camp at the Kiara Payung camping area in Jatinangor. This activity was designed not only as a camping experience, but also as a contextual learning platform that fosters teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and self-motivation.

Over the course of two days, Grade 6 students engaged in a variety of activities such as hiking, team-building games, spiritual sessions, self-reflection, and motivational talks. These activities were aimed not only at building physical endurance but also at strengthening students’ character, preparing them to face future challenges with greater confidence.

In addition, students were encouraged to make decisions, express their opinions, and try new positive experience seven at the risk of failure. Through both group and individual activities, they learned that courage, honesty, and responsibility are essential foundations for facing changes and social pressures.

Alhamdulillah, all participants enthusiastically joined the entire program. Spirit Camp is expected to be a meaningful and memorable experience that strengthens students’ readiness before they continue on to the next level of education.

With this renewed spirit, Grade 6 students are now preparing for the next set of challenges that will require both cognitive and psychological readiness. Spirit Camp serves as a reminder that the best learning does not only happen in classrooms, but also in the open nature that challenges and inspires.
