1000 Takjil Sharing Initiative by SMP Tunas Unggul Students in Ramadan 2026

The month of Ramadan is always a meaningful moment to cultivate compassion and a spirit of sharing within the community. In line with this value, students of SMP Tunas Unggul carried out a social initiative by distributing 1,000 takjil packages to the public on March 12, 2026.

This activity took place in two main locations, Pasir Impun and Arcamanik—areas known for their high level of public activity, especially in the hours leading up to iftar (the breaking of the fast). These locations were intentionally selected to ensure that the distributed takjil could directly benefit those who were traveling or in need. Through the Yuk TU Berbagi program, students were not only involved in the distribution process but also participated from the very beginning. Donations collected from students throughout Ramadan were gradually gathered and then managed into takjil packages ready to be shared with the community.

This process became a meaningful learning experience. Students were encouraged to understand that sharing does not always have to start from something big. Instead, small acts carried out consistently and collectively can create a broader and more meaningful impact. The activity ran smoothly and was filled with enthusiasm. The recipients welcomed the initiative warmly, creating a simple yet heartfelt atmosphere of togetherness. More than just distributing food for iftar, this initiative served as a real-life learning platform for students to develop empathy, social awareness, and a sense of responsibility toward their surroundings.

These values are expected to extend beyond Ramadan and become an integral part of the students’ daily lives. May every act of kindness become a meaningful deed, and may the spirit of sharing continue to grownot only during Ramadan, but in every opportunity throughout life.
